Denver Art Museum, Stories: Denver Art Museum-Design Process
The Denver Art Museum was listed by the architecture and design magazine, Domus, as one of the 50 museums to visit in a lifetime. Coming in at number nine amidst a list of architecturally renowned museums, from the Guggenheim, to the Pompidou, to the Kimbell Art Museum, the Denver Art Museum is haled as “one of the pioneering museums designed to rejuvenate areas beyond the traditional art hubs.” The museum campus includes the original Gio Ponti designed Martin Building, Daniel Libeskind’s Hamilton Building, and the Machado Silvetti and Fentress Architect’s designed Sie Welcome Center.
