This coming week Jorge will chair the panel of judges for the 17th edition of the Tile of Spain Awards. This event is organized and promoted by the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufactures’ Association (ASCER), to promote the use of Spanish ceramic tiles in architecture and interior design in Spain and abroad.

While in Spain, Jorge will also be presenting the recent work of Machado Silvetti at lectures in Valencia and Castellón (see below for details).

  • Jorge Silvetti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he received his diploma in architecture from the University of Buenos Aires. He continued studies at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving his Master of Architecture degree and pursuing post graduate work in the area of architectural theory and criticism.
