Interior Design

The apartment is designed to accommodate a sizeable collection of antique furnishings. While not eliminating daylight, great care is taken to protect the furniture from the harmful effects of direct sun through a series of layered curtains. As if veils, the users can remove the desired number of curtains, thus controlling the amount of light that enters the rooms. The resulting play of light and shadow allows for a variety of differently lit rooms, thus creating a layering of spaces when viewed at once.
